Virtual Cricket Games Competition 2020 CALLING ALL CHILDREN AT JUNIOR SCHOOL (up to year 6)Despite there being no cricket as we know it at present, that's no excuse for you not to take part in our Skills Competition.!Here is something everyone at your Club can have a go at and take part in the 2020 Wales’ Virtual Cricket Games. How to get involved The challenge contains 6 activities with a video link to demonstrate how to do it. Once completed you need to send in your scores directly via google forms through the link embedded at the bottom of the PDF. The document can be found attached. All the activities can be undertaken in a small space in the garden or any other appropriate space you have. Prizes Overall winner: 4x tickets for a Glamorgan T20 Match Winner for each category: one pair of tickets for a Glamorgan T20 match How to get involved 1. Open the link and watch the skills exercises 2. Perform the skills 3. Record your scores 4. Post to google forms here 5. Diff Diaries Project

The ‘Diff Diaries project is now live! Share Your Lockdown Story The coronavirus has rapidly changed life as we know it in Cardiff and The ‘Diff Diaries will bring children and young people together for voices to be heard, stories to be told and experiences to be understood for generations to come. The ‘Diff Diaries will provide lots of opportunities to develop creative skills! How to get involved: • Videos • Written Diaries • Collages How to Enter The project is open to children and young people aged 7-16 years old and parental consent will be required for all entries. Entries can be submitted weekly via Hwb, and children and young people will need a Hwb email in order to enter ‘Diff Diaries. If you have forgotten your Hwb email please contact your school and if you need help with this please contact: cardiffcommitment@cardiff.gov.uk To find out more information and how to submit an entry please visit: https://sites.google.com/hwbcymru.net/the-covid-19-diff-diaries/home The project will come to an end one month after all schools re-open for statutory education. Click here: Advice for the public There are general principles you can follow to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses such as Novel Coronavirus. These include: Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. The course will focus on expanding staff's knowledge in this area of safeguarding using real life examples of cases that have been referred to Prevent and the Channel Panel. The session will explore the aims of Prevent, look at how individuals can be radicalised and drawn into violent extremism. It will focus on what help & support looks like in Cardiff.

ALN Blended Learning Workshop
We would like to you take part in a discussion about ALN Blended Learning which will be held on Microsoft Teams Live. We are holding these sessions in response to several questions raised around expectations for delivering ALN support for Blended Learning including the use of Support Staff. We have also had many questions from parents about support for their children. We are aware many schools have developed innovative and practical ways to support learners with ALN over the last few months, and we will want school input on any guidance we produce.
